LawNotebook sells digital course subscriptions. This policy explains how to ask for a cancellation or a refund, and how payment problems are handled.
In short
- A LawNotebook subscription is a one-time payment for a fixed validity period. It does not renew automatically, so there is no future charge to cancel.
- Access continues until the end of your validity period.
- Non-refundable after activation. Once payment is successfully completed and the course subscription is activated, the subscription fee is non-refundable. The subscription provides immediate access to the complete published course content included in the selected course.
- The subscription covers the complete published course — every available published year, semester, subject, unit, question and answer — not only the first unit, year or semester.
- If you were charged twice, or charged when your payment did not complete, contact us and we will look into it.
- To make any request, write to support@lawnotebook.com.
1. A digital subscription
A subscription gives you online access to the complete content of one course for its validity period. Because access is digital, it starts as soon as your payment is confirmed, and it covers the complete published course, not only the first unit, year or semester. Nothing physical is delivered; see our Shipping Policy.
2. How to ask for a cancellation
Write to support@lawnotebook.com from the email address on your LawNotebook account and include:
- your name and registered email address;
- the course and the date of payment;
- the payment reference shown on your payment confirmation or Subscription page;
- the reason for your request.
If you paid at your college office, you may also contact your college administrator.
3. What cancellation means
Subscriptions do not renew automatically, so you will never be charged again unless you choose to buy another period. You do not need to cancel to avoid future charges.
Your access continues until the end of your current validity period. Once the subscription has been activated, a cancellation does not result in a refund (see section 4).
4. Refund eligibility
Once payment is successfully completed and the course subscription is activated, the subscription fee is non-refundable. The subscription provides immediate access to the complete published course content included in the selected course.
The course is sold as one complete-course subscription. It includes every available published year, semester, subject, unit, question and answer of the selected course, so there are no separate refunds for individual years, semesters, subjects or units.
Duplicate, incorrect and failed payments are handled as described in sections 5 and 6. Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under applicable law.
5. Duplicate or incorrect payments
If you were charged more than once for the same subscription, or charged an amount different from the one shown at checkout, write to support@lawnotebook.com with the payment references. Only one subscription is activated for each order, and we will review any duplicate or incorrect charge and arrange for it to be resolved.
6. Failed payments
If a payment fails, no subscription is activated and you can try again. If money left your account for a payment that failed or did not complete, it is normally returned automatically by the bank or payment provider according to their timelines. If it has not been returned, write to support@lawnotebook.com with the payment details and we will help you follow it up.
If your payment was taken but your subscription is not showing, open the payment status page and choose to check again, or contact us with the payment reference.
7. Refund processing timeline
Where money is to be returned — for example for a duplicate or incorrect charge (section 5) — it is returned to the original payment method. [REFUND PROCESSING TIMELINE TO BE CONFIRMED] The time for the money to reach your account after that also depends on your bank or payment provider.
8. Payment disputes and chargebacks
If you have a problem with a payment, please contact us first at support@lawnotebook.com; we can usually resolve it faster. If you raise a dispute or chargeback with your bank, we may share the relevant payment and subscription records with the bank or payment provider to respond to it.
